Navigating Activism as Black Women with Rosa Clemente and Chelsea Miller

Black Women have been at the forefront of the liberation movement. Whether at home or in the streets, black women have used their voices, strength, and wisdom to ensure that the revolution moves forward. On August 24th, Rosa Clemente and Chelsea Miller will have a conversation about the dynamics of navigating through the liberation movement as a black woman.

The knowledge of the past must never be forgotten.

For Black August, CCCADI are hosting their Sankofa Talks, a series of intergenerational conversations with elder activists, and social justice movement leaders as they engage in reflective exchanges with the next generation. These talks will explore how past efforts of Black Liberation directly affect and inform the future. Some of the topics are Black Liberation in the ClassroomBoricua Identity in Black Movements, & Navigating Activism as Black Women. Be sure to check their social media platforms to know when these talks are happening!
