As the closing for the My Soul Will Be a Star exhibition at Lewis Latimer House Museum and part of artist Sherese Francis’ Herbarium Verbarium series, this outdoor workshop will explore anthems and writing anthems that are natural to us. Participants will look at various examples of national, cultural, and poetry anthems, and then will learn how to bind together personal anthem books to write anthems inspired by Lewis Latimer using details from the museum and the outdoor area.
