The Supper Club is a series of portraits, videos and performances explore the multiplicity of life. Events that provoke variations, expansions and conquests, challenging any defined category. Through photographs and sculptures, Elia Alba explores the contemporary phenomenology of the social. Rhizomatic phenomenon that does not accept identity, similarity or analogy. Crossed by the philosophical ideas put forward by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari in her seminal work Mil Mesetas: Capitalismo y Esquizofrenia, this multidisciplinary artist reinvents the icon, positioning it under the lens of an aesthetic-political perspective that captures racial differences as a symptom of creation and uniqueness.
