Tower is an interdisciplinary installation work utilizing sculpture, video projection, archiving and community participation. The project reflects on climate change and the biblical story of The Tower of Babel—a story of greed and value of cultural differences.
The artwork is located in Rufus King Park on the west side of the King Manor Museum. Projection Nights will happen on Monday, July 26, 8:00-9:30pm, and Friday & Saturday, August 6 & 7, 7:30-9:00pm (weather permitting). During these events, the video projection component of the artwork, showing multilingual interviews about climate change, will be activated for drop-in viewing. The events are free and open to the public.
