Hello Educators! The Education Department of CCCADI cordially invites you to attend their “Freedom Summer” professional development series for educators entitled Culture, Curriculum & Consciousness: Preparing our Children for the 21st Century. As they approach the end of their “Freedom Summer” revitalized by Juneteenth celebrations across the nation, the demands of liberation and safety for Black bodies, and the inspiration they take from Black August history & observances, they welcome all educators committed to the successful learning of children in preparation for their unstoppable futures. Both sessions are free.

Guest Presenter & Master Educator, Kaba Hiawatha Kamene will conduct two sessions related to such thematic topics as the foundations of learning and teaching, W(holistic) teaching methodologies, and connecting and utilizing the early foundations of the African presence in historical societies in creating viable lesson planning activities for your classroom.

You can register for these events here.
