Keep The Rhythm

Despite the challenges of the world, people must keep the rhythm and continue moving to the beat of liberation! For the final Weeksville Weekend of the season, Weeksville are celebrating Black Music Month, their dedicated fathers, and their community’s resilience. They’re tapping into abundance with Oko Farms, mixing up some media with Materials for the Arts, shouting out their joy with BRIC for their annual Father’s Day Shout-Outs & rapping out the afternoon with our Black Music Month Trivia edition. Ensemble your team, gather the family, and join them for some afternoon delight. Throughout the day they’ll be groovin’ to the sounds of DJ Mr. EZE of SGL PRODUCTIONS so stay logged in.

In the lyrics of Curtis Mayfield: “Though you may not drive a great big Cadillac/ Gangsta whitewalls TV antennas in the back/ You may not have a car at all/ But remember brothers and sisters/ You can still stand tall/Just be thankful for what you've got” and thankful because in community people still have a lot!
