Funds will continue our support for this musical program, serving children of diplomats from the developing world, as well as children of recent immigrants to the US.

Mozart Academy will once again receive support through in-kind funding from John Jay College, which will provide classroom facilities throughout the year. In total, $120,000 of the budget is in-kind support.

In 2010, Mozart Academy’s accomplishments included:

  • Seniors gaining access to Harvard, Stanford, Georgetown and possibly Wellesley
  • Middle school students admitted to some of the most competitive schools in the City, usually with scholarships.
  • About $ 20,000 in summer program scholarships from USDAN
  • More than $120,000 in college scholarships
  • One student, Tyler Wong, is now eligible for an academic scholarship that would take him through graduate school
